Who we are, and what these terms cover

These terms govern your use of this website. They do not govern the sale of tooling. If you place an order with us, that order is subject to our conditions of sale, which we provide with your quotation.
Accepting these terms
By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. If you are using it on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that business.
What you may do
You may view, download and print pages from this site for your own use, or for the internal purposes of the business you work for, in evaluating whether to buy tooling from us. That is what the site is for and we are glad for you to use it that way.
What you may not do
You may not republish material from this site as your own, sell or licence it, or present our tooling designs or photography as the work of another supplier. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it, introduce anything harmful to it, or use automated tools to place load on it beyond ordinary browsing. You may not use the contact form to send us anything unlawful, or to send bulk unsolicited messages.
Our content and trade marks
We own or are licensed to use everything on this site — the text, photographs of tooling, drawings and the GlobalDatum name and logo. Nothing on the site transfers any of those rights to you. Where you need to refer to us in your own documentation, please use our name accurately and do not modify our logo.
Information about our products
Descriptions and photographs on this site are there to show what we make and how it is typically applied. They are indicative, not a specification. Tooling is designed to your board and your process, so the materials, tolerances and construction for your job are the ones stated on the drawing we issue for your approval — not the ones described here.
Quotations and lead times
Nothing on this site is an offer to sell. Where we quote turnaround times — such as delivery within a few working days of design approval — those are our typical times, based on our normal workload, and are not a contractual commitment. The lead time for your job is the one stated in your quotation.
Design data you send us
When you send us Gerber, ODB++, drill files or drawings through this site, you confirm you are entitled to share that data with us for the purpose of obtaining a quotation. We treat it as your confidential commercial information — how we handle and store it is set out in our privacy policy.
Links to other sites
We link to our approved distributors and occasionally to other organisations. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the site it points to.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of Scotland.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, or from reliance on the general product information it contains. Our liability for tooling we supply is dealt with in our conditions of sale, not here.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies. These terms were last updated in September 2026.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
